Abenaki Analytics is a boutique software development firm headed by Steve Shulman who has degrees from Brandeis and Columbia with post graduate studies at MIT's Sloan School.  Steve is a serial entrepreneur whose 50 year career includes stints in industry, higher education and consulting. 

Abenaki Analytics LLC is the successor to B3i Analytics LLC, a patented SaaS solution for research universities which Steve sold to Huron Consulting Group in August of 2020.  B3i clients included Yale, Dartmouth, Brown, NYU, Maryland, Kansas, and Florida. After the acquisition, B3i was rebranded as Huron Financial Forecasting as part of the Huron Research Suite and Steve's attention turned to Athena. 

Athena was conceived by Steve while he served as Senior Vice President at Lesley University.  The original application was intended to be a teaching tool for stakeholders with limited or no understanding of the basics of college or university finance.   And while Athena has now been designed in lay terms with a highly intuitive user interface to serve that purpose, it offers finance professionals the ability to pre-test complex planning scenarios with minimal effort to inform budget and  financial planning and other deliberative processes.
